Dr. Hall


George Hall, O.D., is a board-certified therapeutic optometrist and optometric glaucoma specialist who has been practicing optometry for over 50 years. After graduating from the University of Houston College of Optometry with a Doctor of Optometry degree, Dr. Hall moved up to Alaska to begin his career.


As a young eye doctor, he established his own private practice in Anchorage, AK, followed by one in the Clear Lake area of Houston, TX, ten years later. Among his career highlights, Dr. Hall worked directly with NASA astronauts and was responsible for establishing flight standards for military pilots.


Throughout his decorated career, Dr. Hall has found he enjoys providing full eye care services for glaucoma and corneal dystrophies, such as keratoconus, as well as anterior segment disorders and diseases. Though he is partially retired, Dr. Hall still treats patients with expertise and compassion here at Elite Vision Care.

Dr. Hall has had an adventurous career, having lived in Alaska and Texas, and practiced with patients from all walks of life. His work with NASA and military pilots has quite literally set a standard for vision and eye health in those fields, where the most precise possible vision is of the utmost importance.

In his free time (especially since his semi-retirement), he enjoys traveling, trying new restaurants, and spending quality time with family and friends.
